When we met Mildred and Thomas, their basement laundry room was unfinished and tight on function. With old utilities, exposed concrete floors, and no real storage, it was time for a complete renovation.
The transformation started in November. We gutted the basement, expanded the space, and relocated the HVAC and water heater to improve layout and usability. The new tankless water heater was mounted to the wall, and custom plumbing was added to future-proof the system. New framing, drywall, lighting, and electrical followed — and the space was made fully usable before the holidays.

Fast forward to April — the finishing touches have finally arrived. Their sage green shaker cabinet doors, handcrafted in Canada by Aspen Design, were installed along with the chrome handles. This custom cabinetry ties the room together with a clean and tailored look.
The laundry room now features Felro 2019 click vinyl flooring, a custom vanity, and TSF 140 Sofia 3cm quartz that extends over the washer and dryer. The Melo Luna sink and Lennox II pull-down faucet, both from Pearl, bring utility and sleek design into one cohesive space. We also added upper cabinets for storage and rods for hang-dry clothing beside the window.
