Mildred & Thomas' Basement Bathroom

We recently completed a full basement renovation for Mildred and Thomas in Centretown, Ottawa, and one of the most meaningful upgrades was this bathroom addition. Tucked between the family room and conduit closet, the new layout now includes a walk-in shower, a custom vanity, and updated lighting—bringing everyday comfort to their lower level.
The walk-in shower features a 48" x 32" base with sliding glass doors, full tile surround, and ceiling-mounted spotlights. We installed a beautiful vanity finished in sage green shaker doors, custom-made in Canada by Aspen Design. Paired with TSF 140 Sofia 3cm quartz countertops, gold Madeline Ferreria faucet, and Ryker-21 sink from Pearl, the finishes blend utility with design.
The flooring is click-vinyl, chosen for its durability in high-moisture areas. The renovation also included an internet conduit routed through the family room and fresh baseboards to complete the look. This project was one of the final phases of their basement renovation, completed just before the holidays.
