The red walls were the first thing to go. From the moment Dieu Hoa stepped into the basement bathroom, she knew it didn’t feel right. The bold colour made the space feel closed in, and the outdated fixtures weren’t helping. It was time for a complete reset—one that would align the basement with the calm, clean aesthetic she had envisioned for the rest of her home.
We started by gutting the room down to the studs, opening up the layout and rebuilding from scratch. The old fiberglass shower was replaced with a sleek glass enclosure, surrounded by Galaxy Carrara 12" x 24" tiles in a modern brick pattern. This tile choice brought a soft, elegant rhythm to the space while brightening up every corner.

For cabinetry, she selected classic ivory shaker doors from Aspen Design, fitted with polished chrome hardware. A thick slab of Coffee Brown granite added contrast and warmth to the vanity. To complete the look, we installed a Bradley faucet and KASU-SC undermount sink from Pearl, paired with a frameless LED mirror for clean, flattering lighting.
What was once a dated and disconnected bathroom is now a seamless extension of her home. It’s bright, functional, and thoughtfully designed—built to last, and built for her.
